Thrive
Start earlier, stay ahead
A yearly assessment and a nurse visit every three months, so you can plan ahead before retirement and keep your independence.
Start the record early. A yearly physical, core screening and a nurse who knows you, so that a change in your fifties is visible as a change rather than as a new normal.
Fees are tailored to you. Call us on (250) 818-4425 for a written quote; every included service is itemized in writing before you begin.
Pre-retirement, typically from age 50.People from 50, before retirement, when very little is wrong yet, and when that is exactly the point. Almost nothing found in these years needs treating; what they are for is the first reading of everything, taken while it is normal. A baseline is only worth what it is compared against later, and it can only be taken now.

Membership fees
Let's find the right fit, then put a number on it.
Call us and we will talk it through and give you a clear written quote, with no obligation. You will also receive a written record of exactly what your membership includes before any services begin.
How your level is decided
Everyone starts with a yearly assessment. The team reads the results together with your frailty level and recommends the level of care that fits. The choice is yours: you can take a lower level, and we will tell you plainly if it is below what we recommend, now and as things change.
What this membership includes
Annual healthspan assessment
A yearly baseline assessment across 12 categories of health, with physician involvement where appropriate.
A basic level, by design
This level adds no extra testing. If your assessment or your nurse visits suggest more is needed, the team will recommend a different level of care and tell you why.
Quarterly contact with a nurse
Someone who has read your file, four times a year, so a question does not have to be saved for the annual assessment.
Support when something changes
A care team that knows your history and can help you understand what needs attention and coordinate the appropriate next steps.
Services beyond this membership
Your membership includes the services listed here. Additional services, including pharmacogenetic testing as an option, are discussed with you in advance before they are provided.

What we measure, and how often
One assessment a year, built to be compared with the next one rather than to find something now.
Annually, with quarterly nurse contact in between.
What the assessment covers
- Personal, family and occupational history
- Lifestyle review - sleep, movement, nutrition, alcohol, stress
- Physical examination and basic physical measures
How the membership works between assessments
An assessment once or twice a year is not a relationship. These are the things that keep Monarch present in between.
Results explained, not just delivered
Every result is presented with what it means and what, if anything, follows from it.
A record that starts now
Each year is kept alongside the last, which is the whole reason for beginning this early.
Support between assessments
A care team that knows your history and can help you understand what needs attention and what can wait.
Clinical programs this membership draws on
Programs are delivered within a membership rather than bought separately. Which ones apply depends on what your assessment finds and what you and your physician decide to work on.
How this works with the public system
Publicly insured services remain publicly insured. Where an independently practising physician provides an MSP-insured service, that service is separate from Monarch Health and is billed through MSP in accordance with applicable requirements. Membership fees do not cover or provide priority access to MSP-insured services. This membership covers uninsured services - assessment, prevention planning, coordination, monitoring and support. It does not replace your family physician or provide faster access to MSP-covered investigations.
